Usage[edit source]
This template is designed to be used as row items within the vessel specific parameter templates referenced in the "See also" section listed below.
The syntax should be copy/pasted into the vessel specific templates, and the date ranges customized to the specific start- and end-dates for that specific parameter item. In addition the text that is to be returned by a target date falling within the specified start- and end-dates should be set when the row copy is pasted into the vessel specific template.
Syntax[edit source]
The following the code that should be copy/pasted into the vessel specific template:
{{Earth-date-range-variable| start_date | end_date |{{{1}}}| text }}
start_date
– This parameter should be replaced with the first date after which the entry row item should become "true" and the template would return the text parameter's content for a specified target date.
- Notes
- This must be a valid, properly written Terran calendar date (i.e. a standard calendar used currently in the real-world).
- This date should be the date in which the target date starts to become "true".
- Notes
end_date
– This parameter should be replaced with the end date after which the entry row item should no longer "true".
- Notes
- This must be a valid, properly written Terran calendar date (i.e. a standard calendar used currently in the real-world).
- This date should be the date in which the target date starts to become "true".
- Notes
text
– This parameter should be replaced with the text content you wish the template to emit when the target date falls within the specified start_date and end_date parameters.
- Notes
- The length of the text content is not listed, but should try and be kept to less than 30 characters.
- The text can wikilinked as well as receive the standard wiki text mark-ups (i.e. bold, italic, color).
