NAME is the Federation Item Identification Guide code for the “item name” specification.
Definition | A noun, with or without modifiers, by which an item of supply is known. |

Instructions | Enter the proper name of the item of supply. When using the standardized Item Name Code (INC), enter "INC" followed immediately by the INC taken from the index of Approved Item Names. |
