APPN is the Federation Item Identification Guide code for the “accuracy in percent” specification.

Definition An indication of the accuracy of an item, expressed in percent.
Instructions Enter the numeric value(s) of the accuracy range of the item. If the accuracy is a range between two numeric values, a “D” must precede the first value, and have a space separating it from the second value.
