AASB federal item identification guide code

AASB is the Federation Item Identification Guide code for the “fastener length” specification.

Definition the dimension, measured along a line parallel to the longitudinal axis, from the largest bearing surface of the fastener head to the extreme opposite end, or as specifically designated for other type fasteners.
Instructions Enter the applicable Reply Codes from Table 1 below, followed by the numeric value.
Note The numeric value must be entered in millimetres.
